13 Moon Walk 4 Peace Completes its Epic 13 Month Walk for Peace
Peace poles and walking 4 peacePeace Walkers in Philadelphia this Weekend!
The 13 Moon Walk 4 Peace heads into Philadelphia for a peace pole planting at The North Light Community Center @ 3:00pm on Friday August 26th. The Center is at 175 Green Lane, however, the peace pole will be planted two blocks away on the “tow path”, a main path through center city used by walkers, bikers, and is a very visible location. It is the children’s last day of summer camp and the peace pole planting will be the perfect note to end on.
Then on, Saturday, August 27th , the Peace Walkers will be at the Quaker Meeting House in Downingtown, PA to plant a peace pole at 6:00pm and to share our Walk with the community there.
And on Sunday, August 28th, we will be at Pebblehill Church in Doylestown, PA, on 320 Edison Furlong Rd. Larry Hall has invited us to the Sunday service (meditation @ 9 and service @ 10:30) We will have 10-12 minutes to talk at the service and we will have Walk merchandise on sale.
