We spent the last 4 days in the middle of the mojave. If you look closely at the photo above, you will see our rv in the middle of no where. This is where we have been for the last few days. It was a time of much needed introspection and spiritual rejuvenation for our entire team. And it was an amazing gift to be in such a silent and isolated place. Each night our team sat beneath the stars sharing dreams, visions, and prayers.
Our walk continued on some interesting paths. One day we walked as a group down unnamed roads guided only by our gps and intuition. It was actually one of the most amazing walks we’ve done since the walk began.
The scenery has been breathtaking. And in stark contrast to our short stay in Las Vegas. While in Las Vegas, we did a walk a mile for peace right through an area called the Freemont Experience where everything goes…we looked pretty normal. The walk was done in memory of Jigme Norbu, nephew of the Dalai Lama. We ended the walk at the Free Tibet sign.
We are now on the road towards Barstow, CA. For a while at least, we will be getting our kicks on route 66. Stay tuned for more details about our visits to Barstow and events planned for Los Angeles.
