We arrived in Macon yesterday after three days of walking since the launch on Sunday in Atlanta. Tomorrow we will hold a healing waters ceremony in memory of a young man, Steven Lamond Johnson, who was murdered in this community on October 10, 2000. There will be a 2 mile walk from the city to the Ocmulgee river that will begin at 10:00am and the healing ceremony will begin around 12:00pm. The ceremony will be held near the Otis Redding statue across from the Telegraph Newspaper.
Unfortunately, our Internet access has been very limited…We will try to update with more pictures in the very near future!
Thank you for your support!!!
