This weekend some of the 13 Moon Walk 4 Peace Team converged with other peacemakers from around the nation to celebrate Gandhi’s birthday oat the One Nation Gathered Together march and rally in Washington D.C.
From here they will travel down to Atlanta for the launch of the 13 Moon Walk 4 Peace on 10/10/10 at the King Center. Here is a breakdown of events that will be happening this week to lead up to the start of the walk:
Wednesday, October 6th…Interfaith Service at Victory for the World Church at 7:30PM in Stone Mountain, GA
Thursday, October 7th… The Screening of the Film, For the Next Seven Generations and Dialogue at 7pm at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA
Saturday, October 9th… Peace Festival in Atlanta, GA
Sunday, October 10th…Walk begins at 3pm at the King Center in Atlanta, GA
